I had an extremely positive experience at Lavender salon. Sydney did a phenomenal job repairing my damaged hair. I am thrilled with the color and the healthier cut. The place itself is immaculate and the products used are top shelf. In addition to the professional job of catering to my hair needs, the personal encounter was delightful. Danielle, Jenny and especially Sydney are personable people and the easy conversation made the time fly by. I highly recommend visiting this salon for your pampering needs.

Wow, if I could rate them 10 out of 10 or even 100 out of 100, I would. It’s a very beautiful place; they make you feel super comfortable, and the work is spectacular. It exceeded my expectations. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to most places in New York. I think it’s simply excellent. Jenny was the one who did my hair. She is an amazing person—very kind and very professional. Sydney and Danielle were both extremely kind and friendly . Sydney is a very experienced , amazing colorist. She was the only colorist that was able to get the brassy red out of my daughter’s hair and return her to her original color. She gave a beautiful haircut as well. The salon is also very peaceful, calm and welcoming. It was the best salon I have been to in a very long time.

This is for Yvette!! I really hope you are not serious with this post right now??? I was sitting in the salon from the moment you showed up until you left. You came in like a fire cracker first off and then explained to everyone in the salon how you decided to give yourself a haircut over and over again. It went from being shoulder length to a pixie curtain with an attempted shaved neck in the back. I would personally say that’s the “worst haircut ever”.!! You came in looking butchered and left looking beautiful. The stylist was able to reshape and fix the haircut as best as possible based on the little length of hair you came in with. At the end of the appointment you expressed how happy and grateful you were and threw your arms around the stylist hugging her. This tells me you are FAKE and not genuine. What I think happened here was you returned to work today at the high school you said you worked at and just as you said in the salon on Sunday you were worried the kids were going to make fun of you, & here you are writing a negative false review against a family run business all because you are not confident and secure with yourself. There’s a way to go about things like this, take accountability for the part you played in destroying your own hair to begin with and talk directly to the salon and say I really am not happy what can we do? You owe the stylist an apology. These ladies work VERY hard and as a long time client I always leave happy, confident and satisfied! 😘

Sydney and the entire staff at Lavender Salon make you feel at ease and empowered. I came to them after seeing that they are experts at color and color correction. They are also a family owned business, and their staff has decades of experience. Sydney fit me in before an important day. My hair was heavily damaged by sun in, and she was able to create a beautiful shade with subtle highlights. She also introduced my to a few extensions to fill out my hair. She and helped me create the perfect look for my special day. I will definitely go back soon. I loved her no-nonsense but fun and creative approach. Thank you so much!!!
